Replacing the air filter on your Smart Fortwo is very important as it allows you to maintain an adequate level of engine efficiency and increase the reliability of the engine itself. In our new mini guide we will explain how to correctly perform this maintenance operation. First, make sure that you have turned the car off completely and that the engine has cooled down sufficiently. Then lift the hood and remove the protective panel. At this point, locate the filter box located on the left side of the engine compartment and remove the cover. Finally, replace the old filter with the new one and replace both the cover and the protection panel.
