How to Open and Close the Bonnet of the Smart Fortwo?

Follow these instructions to open and then close the bonnet of a Smart Fortwo: to open the bonnet, release the levers located at the sides of the radiator grille. Pull both levers forward and inward; this will unlock the bonnet. To fully open it, simply lift it (it has no hinges). To close it, position it above the headlights in alignment, then apply pressure by pushing it towards the windscreen to secure it properly.
