In this video, you can see how to remove the steering wheel airbag in the Smart ForTwo, a very simple operation. First, ensure you disconnect the battery to work safely. To remove the airbag, first take off the steering wheel by undoing the single bolt located at the bottom and then disconnect the connectors. Once done, remove the rear cover, unclip the horn plastic, and unscrew the two fixing screws of the airbag. Finally, extract the airbag and disconnect the yellow power connector.
