The service for the Smart 453 should be followed according to the maintenance intervals indicated in the owner's manual, which is every 12,500 miles or annually. After performing the scheduled maintenance tasks, reset the warning light on the display by following the procedure shown in this video. Note that the number of spanners shown in the light indicates the nature of the service: 1 spanner means light maintenance, while 2 spanners indicate heavy maintenance. To reset the light, turn on the ignition, set the display to the service screen, and hold the "OK" button for at least 30 seconds, or until the screen flashes and then resets.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
