How to reset the service light on a Smart Forfour

Performing the reset procedure of the service warning light of a Smart Forfour car is quite simple. First we get on board the car, insert the key in the appropriate slot and turn it to the first position, so as to turn on the instrument panel without starting the vehicle. At this point we will use the buttons on the steering wheel: use the arrow keys to scroll through the settings menu items and select the â € œmessages and serviceâ € option. Press and hold the OK button until the key symbol starts flashing; release the button and press it again for about 20 seconds. We turn off the instrument panel and turn it on again to verify the success of the operation.
