How to replace the starter motor of the Smart?

To replace the starter motor of the Smart, open the boot and lift the protective panel at its base. Under this panel, you will find the engine compartment, and on its left side, the starter motor can be identified. Remove the starter motor from its housing by disconnecting all connectors and loosening the relevant fixing screws. This will allow you to insert the new starter motor, securing it in place and connecting the appropriate power cables.
