Where is the crankshaft position sensor located in the Smart ForTwo?

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Crankshaft position sensor

In this video, we can see where the engine speed sensor is located in the Smart ForTwo, which is useful in case we need to replace it. As shown, the sensor is positioned in the upper left area of the engine, but accessing it will require removing the intercooler, EGR valve, and the control unit, which can be quite time-consuming. However, replacing the sensor itself is very simple. We just need to disconnect the power connector, unscrew the two mounting bolts, and follow the reverse procedure. Of course, make sure to work with the engine completely cooled down.

How to Replace the Battery on a Peugeot 207

How to replace the battery on a Peugeot 207? Follow these steps: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers. Secure it with the prop rod. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to be replaced on the right. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals and disconnect the locking plate (if present). Remove the old battery and fit a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and shut the bonnet.
