In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the diesel filter in a Ssangyong Rexton, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is sufficiently cool, then open the bonnet and locate the filter, positioned about halfway up just behind the battery. Once done, disconnect the three upper pipes by unlocking the respective clips, loosen the bolt of the mounting bracket if necessary, and extract the filter from it. At this point, transfer the water presence sensor to the new part and follow the reverse procedure.
