To replace the air filter on a Subaru Forester, open the bonnet to access the engine bay and locate the box containing the air filter. This is situated near the right front headlamp and can be opened by removing the two clips at the top. Once the box is opened, you can pull out the air filter from its housing and replace it with a new spare part. After the replacement, close the filter box again using the clips.
