How to Replace the Air Filter for the Subaru Forester [UK]

Model: Subaru Forester MK 5, SK - Years 2018-2025

Open the bonnet by lifting the lever located under the dashboard on the driver's side near the door. Locate the box containing the filter on the left side of the engine bay just behind the headlamp assembly. Unclip the catches securing the box cover and lift the cover itself. This will give you access to the compartment containing the filter, which can then be removed. Take the new filter that must meet the specifications suitable for the car model (see the owner's manual) and place it in the housing. Reposition the box cover and secure the catches. Finally, close the bonnet.
