Let's discover step-by-step instructions on how to dismantle and replace the engine air filter of the Subaru Forester. First, open the engine hood and start releasing the tabs of the filter box cover, located on the left side of the engine compartment; disconnect the intake hose, thus opening the filter box, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the filter cartridge and replace it with the new one, as well as with the original one; reassemble the filter in the correct direction and reassemble the filter box, securing the intake hose properly!
