Let's discover the step-by-step instructions on how to remove and replace the engine air filter on the Subaru Forester. First, open the bonnet and start unfastening the tabs on the cover of the filter box, located on the left side of the engine bay; disconnect the intake hose, thus opening the filter box as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the filter cartridge and replace it with the new one, as well as the original; reassemble the filter in the correct orientation and refit the filter box, ensuring the intake hose is secured properly!
