Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Subaru Impreza MK 2 - Years 2001-2007

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment. To replace it, you must completely remove the glove compartment: start by removing the side pressure clip and continue by unscrewing the screws along the inner closing edge of the door. Once all screws are removed, pull the glove compartment out of its housing, disconnect the wiring connectors at the back, and access the filter housing. Remove the cap, take out the old filter, and insert the new one, ensuring the correct airflow direction. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
