How do you change the cabin filter on a Subaru? Start by removing the side guides of the glove compartment (right side in the dashboard). Remove the glove compartment from the plastic housing to access the air filter. Disconnect the cover from above the filter housing (push the plastic clip), then extract the cabin filter to be replaced. Insert a new pollen filter, ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the box. Refit the air filter cover and then the glove compartment.
