This guide will show you how to replace the battery in a Subaru Forester. Start by loosening the terminal with a 10-millimetre spanner; also remove the plastic support with the same spanner. Similarly, remove the positive terminal. Using the 10-millimetre spanner, unscrew the two screws of the block that holds the battery in place and detach the clips. At this point, you can remove the battery cover by simply pulling it off. Now, remove the battery and replace it with a new one. You can now reinsert the cover and the block. Finally, reconnect the terminals, starting with the positive and finishing with the negative.
