In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Subaru Forester, a very simple and quick operation. You will only need a 10 mm socket spanner. First, disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative terminal by loosening the respective nuts. Then, unscrew the earth bolt and the two nuts of the battery mounting bracket. At this point, remove the two long hooks and extract the battery. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure, ensuring to reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative.
