In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Subaru Crosstrek remote. For this simple and quick operation, you will only need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR1620 battery.

First, locate the slot on the right side of the ring, then insert the screwdriver into it and, prying, unlock the two halves of the remote. Once fully opened, remove the central module and open it in the same way. At this point, you can proceed with the battery replacement, placing the new battery in the correct orientation.
