Air filter replacement for the Subaru XV

Model: Subaru Xv MK 1 - Years 2012-2017
Part: Air filter

In the regular maintenance program of the Subaru XV, the replacement of the air filter element is also included, an important operation if we want to keep our engine efficient and avoid increasing fuel consumption. To do this, we open the engine hood and remove the air intake on the passenger side. This will give us access to the filter box, which we will open by manipulating two metal clips. We unscrew the clamp that secures the outlet tube and disconnect it. We remove the old filter element and replace it with a new one, making sure it is correctly positioned. We reassemble the various parts by reversing the steps.
