Replacing Air Filter on a Subaru XV

Replace the damaged and worn filter on a Subaru XV with a new filter. Open the car door, pull up the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet. Release the metal clips around the engine filter, open the air kit, remove the cover of the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the filter kit (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Refit the cover of the air box and secure it with the clips. Close the bonnet of the XV after maintenance.
