Replacing the Cabin Filter on Subaru XV

Model: Subaru Xv MK 1 - Years 2012-2017
Part: Cabin air filter

Replace the cabin filter at every service. Remove the cabin filter on a Subaru XV by taking it out from inside the glove compartment. Open the glove box and unclip the end stop brackets on either side, then pull the glove box away from the dashboard (as shown in the video). Remove the black plastic cover over the filter. Next, slide out the air filter from its housing as shown in the video. Insert the new filter, then close it with the cover plastic. Refit the glove box and reconnect the brackets on either side. Close the glove box after replacement.
