Replacing the Air Filter on a Subaru XV

As part of the regular maintenance for the Subaru XV, you need to replace the air filter element, which is important for keeping your engine efficient and preventing increased fuel consumption. To do this, open the bonnet and remove the air intake on the passenger side. You will then have access to the filter box, which you can open by releasing two metal clips. Unscrew the clamp that secures the outlet hose and disconnect it. Remove the old filter element and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is positioned correctly. Reassemble the various parts in reverse order.
