How to Remove the Radiator from Your Car

Model: Subaru Outback BP, BL, MK 3 - Years 2003-2009
Part: Radiator

To remove the radiator, first remove the two plastic covers underneath that protect the engine. Then, undo the screw located on the right side under the radiator to drain the water inside. Once emptied, move to the left side and disconnect the hoses near the radiator by removing the clips with pliers, allowing all the water to drain from the system. Next, go to the top where you remove the plastic cover over the radiator by extracting the plastic clips and disconnect the hose by loosening the clip with the screw. Detach the water reservoir and then undo the bolts that hold it in place and lift it out. And that's how you have removed the radiator from your SUBARU OUTBACK.
