How to Remove a Wishbone from a Subaru Outback

In this video, see how to remove the front wishbone of a Subaru. First, place the car on a column lift and loosen the wheel nuts with a socket wrench. Then, lift the car to your preferred height and remove the wheel. Now, go underneath the car and proceed. Unscrew the wishbone's mounting bolt and the bolt mounted under the wheel hub with a socket wrench, then unscrew the bolts on the upper part of the wishbone as shown in the video and the plate secured to the car's body. Use a pry bar to remove the wishbone from the mounting points, unscrew the last bolt, and tap the wishbone with a hammer to pull it out. Now that the wishbone is removed, obtain a new one, compare it with the old one, and if it matches, begin the installation. Insert the wishbone under the car and start tightening all the bolts on the threads shown in the video. Attach the wishbone to the wheel hub and the other end to the chassis, remembering to fit the plate with the relevant bolts. Double-check that everything is tightened properly, then reattach the wheel to finish.
