Here we are facing a maintenance intervention really within everyone's reach, executable in a very short time and in most cases without the need to use equipment, just as the video available here explains. As we were saying, and the aforementioned video proves it, there is nothing difficult, in fact once you have grabbed the old gear knob with your hands, you must pull it with force and detach it from the lever, as it is mounted in a snap-fit manner, no screws.

Mounting the new one will be equally easy, in fact it rests on the end of the aforementioned gear lever and is pushed all the way in. Job done.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
