How to Remove the Alternator from a Suzuki Jimny

Before you start, open the bonnet of your Suzuki Jimny. Begin by disconnecting the positive terminal of the battery to work safely. Next, loosen the tensioner of the auxiliary belt, then move the belt aside. After that, unscrew and remove the bolts securing the alternator to its housing. This will free the alternator itself. Proceed to disconnect the electrical connectors attached to the alternator. Once you complete this step, you can remove the alternator, and you will have finished the removal.
