Want to replace the alternator on your Suzuki Jimny? Here’s how to dismantle the parts for the alternator replacement. Lift the bonnet and secure it, locate the power battery, and disconnect the terminals. Remove the battery cover, unscrew the pins with a socket spanner, being careful not to damage the wiring harness membranes, and unscrew all the alternator mounting bolts. Once dismantling is complete, remove the part from the engine bay. Install the new alternator in the designated space, screw in the mounting bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator and finally the belt.
