Car Shock Absorber Replacement

If your car has more than 62,000 miles, you should replace the shock absorbers. Their function is to dampen the vehicle's bumps while driving. This guide shows how to replace them without needing a trusted mechanic, saving you some money. First, go to an auto parts store to purchase new ones. Once home, head to the garage and get a compressor with a pneumatic gun, a jack, and a spring compressor tool. Lift the left side of the car with the jack and remove the wheel, ensuring all four bolts are taken off. Next, open the bonnet by pulling the appropriate lever and remove the four screws located above the shock absorber. Then, remove the two screws on the driveshaft and the one on the stabiliser parallel to the shock absorber, which will come off easily.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
