To replace the brake shoes on a Tata Nano, lift the car with a jack so that the wheel needing the shoe replacement is off the ground. Then, loosen the bolts securing the wheel and completely remove it to access the underlying drum. By unscrewing the fastening screws, you can open the drum and access the shoes inside, disconnecting them from the brake mechanism. You can now install the new shoes, securing them to the mechanism and finally closing the drum to reinstall the corresponding wheel.
