In today's article, we will explain how to replace the starter motor of a 2006 Toyota RAV4. For this operation, you will need a flathead screwdriver, a 16 socket wrench, and a screwdriver. To replace the starter motor, you must first disconnect the battery terminals, then remove the mounting bar by removing the screw, then remove the plastic part by removing the clips using the flathead screwdriver, and then remove the second screw securing the mounting pin. At this point, remove the battery, then remove the metal plate supporting the battery using the 16 socket wrench.

Once the metal plate is removed, remove the plastic cover of the wiring with the socket wrench, then you will have access to the starter motor. Disconnect the connectors, then remove the securing screws, replace the starter motor, and then reassemble all the previously removed components before reinserting the battery.
