Where can I find the VIN number of the Toyota Yaris Cross?

Model: Toyota Yaris Cross MK 1 - Years 2020-2026
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this video we can see where the legal chassis number of the Toyota Yaris Cross is located; but first let's see where the engine number is located. The engine number is located on the base of the engine and is underneath the engine block, stamped on two lines in the silver part. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is instead located inside the passenger compartment, under the passenger side mat, in a cut in the carpet that, when lifted, reveals the legal chassis number stamped right on the chassis. Remember that we can find these same numbers in the vehicle registration document in section 2 of the document itself: the chassis number under letter E) and the engine code under letter P.5.

Resetting the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208, the system called SMEG, is very simple. You can perform this operation if the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart might resolve the issue. To reboot, simply press and hold the two buttons located in the lower left corner of the computer simultaneously. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will turn off, the Peugeot logo will appear, and the startup procedure will begin. Wait patiently for the reboot to complete, as it may take some time.
