The service light turns on when it's time to perform an oil change in the engine oil reservoir. The light related to the service or oil change needs to be reset.

To perform these steps on a 2013 Toyota Tacoma, turn on the ignition while pressing the button on the display. Keep the button pressed, turn off the ignition, and release the button.

Turn on the ignition again and press the button, then rotate the button to set the mileage for the next service. Complete the reset by restarting the instrument cluster.
