In this article, we will illustrate the step-by-step procedure for resetting the service light of the Toyota Hi Lux. This operation may be necessary after having the car serviced, and in case the light remains on. To reset the light, first start the instrument panel and make sure it is on TRIP A, using the appropriate button on the right side of the panel. Once the panel is on TRIP A, turn off the panel, press and hold the button, keeping it pressed, start the panel without starting the engine. At this point, wait for the reset to take place. When the panel shows the vehicle's mileage, release the button and the procedure is complete.
