How do you deactivate the traction control of the Toyota Fortuner?

The traction control deactivation on the Toyota Fortuner is done by turning on the ignition, inserting the appropriate key into the ignition switch: once the ignition is on, you can press the TRC OFF button located on the central tunnel, just behind the gear lever. You will need to hold down this button until the indicator light on the instrument panel shows that the traction control has been deactivated: once the control has been deactivated, you can reactivate it by pressing the button again.
