How to disassemble the door panel of a Toyota Prius?

To remove the door panel of a Toyota Prius, start by turning off the engine and making sure the windows are rolled up. Use a flathead screwdriver covered with tape to prevent damage and gently pry off the plastic covers that hide the mounting screws. Remove these covers to expose the screws, then use an appropriate screwdriver to unscrew them. Next, detach the panel starting from the bottom edge, using a plastic tool to pry and release the fastening clips. Work along the perimeter of the panel until all clips are released. Once detached, lift the panel upwards to free it from the window seal. Before completely removing the panel, carefully disconnect all electrical connectors connected to the door controls, such as those for the windows and locks. With the panel completely removed, you can access the internal components of the door for any repairs or replacements.
