How to clean the fan and traction battery filter of a Toyota Auris

In this video, we see how to clean the filter and fan of the traction battery of the Toyota Auris: these components are located under the rear seat. We must remove the part behind the driver's seat, levering it out, and then remove the two clips located on the rear floor, just below the seat we removed; then we must remove the door sill from the same side. Under the bench, we find two more clips that we must remove to access the fan, by removing the bench support part. Inside, we find the filter on one side and the fan on the other. The fan is cleaned with damp wipes, a plastic knife, and a little patience. For the filter, simply remove the grate with your fingers and then clean it with compressed air, or soak it in water and then let it air dry. Then simply insert it back into place. Once all of this is done, we can reassemble everything; the bench support with its clips. Insert the bench, the door sill, the two outer screws of the support, and it's done. We're good for another year.
