How do you replace the auxiliary battery of the Toyota Auris?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Toyota Auris, you will need to lift the trim panel located at the base of the trunk: once this panel has been removed, you will be able to access the components below. This battery will now need to be removed from its housing by loosening the screws that secure it: this way you will also be able to disconnect the power cables and insert the new device. After installation, you will need to verify that everything is functioning correctly and cover everything with the panel.
