It is necessary to activate this function when we need all four wheels to continue turning, even if they slip, such as when we are stuck in mud, for example. The locking of the four-wheel drive engages with the engine running, so without touching the brake, we must press the button, and the symbol of the differential lock will appear on the screen, and the system will send the maximum possible torque to all four wheels. The lock will automatically disengage if the brake is pressed or if the speed exceeds 25 mph (40 km/h approximately). We will then need to press the button again to deactivate the function.
