How to Change the Differential Oil on a Toyota Land Cruiser

Let's see how to change the oil on a Toyota Land Cruiser; it is a very simple job, just have the right tools, such as the keys to open the fill and drain plugs, but the size depends on your vehicle model. In the case of our YouTuber, it is a J80 model, and a 24mm socket is required. A crucial tool is a syringe to inject the new oil into the differential. You can find it on Amazon with code B003E37HTW for £15.04, with free delivery. When replacing the oil, it is good practice to also replace the seals of the differential plugs. The type of oil to buy can be found in the user and maintenance manual, as it varies from model to model. Also, get a container to drain the used oil: it will then be disposed of at an authorised centre. Remove the oil fill plug, then the drain plug (clean the plug first). When all the oil has drained, replace the drain plug, and using the syringe, refill the oil into the differential through the fill plug. When oil comes out of the fill hole, it means the differential is full. Place the new seal and tighten the plug. In the following days, check for any leaks!
