How to use the all-wheel drive lock button on the Toyota RAV-4

In this video we see how the four-wheel drive lock button of the Toyota RAV-4 works: this mode is not suitable for everyday use, but only for specific situations, such as being stuck in mud, on a snowy surface, or facing a steep incline on a dirt road. With the vehicle on and traveling at less than 25 mph (about 40 km/h), pressing the button once activates the system and the indicator for the locked center differential will appear on the instrument panel, so that engine power is evenly distributed between the front and rear axles. To cancel the function, press the button again; the function is also canceled when the indicated speed is exceeded or when the brakes are applied, to allow the braking systems to work properly.
