How to reset the "Service" light on a Toyota Highlander?

To reset the "Service" light on a Toyota Highlander, start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Using the controls on the steering wheel, navigate to the settings menu on the central display. Once inside, find the maintenance or service check option and select it. At this point, you will see the reset option for the "Service" light. Press the confirmation button on the steering wheel to start the procedure and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the reset. The process only takes a few moments and, once finished, the maintenance light should turn off, indicating that the reminder has been successfully reset. To ensure that everything has been updated, turn off and on the instrument panel: if the light does not appear, the reset has been successful.
