How to reset the "Service" light on a Toyota Highlander?

To reset the "Service" light on a Toyota Highlander, use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate the onboard computer menu. Start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine, by pressing the ignition button once, keeping only the indicators active. On the steering wheel, press the "Menu" button and navigate to the maintenance section or "Settings". Scroll to the reset option for scheduled maintenance and select it. The system will ask you to confirm the operation; use the controls to accept the reset of the light. Once confirmed, the onboard system will complete the reset, turning off the "Service" warning. To verify that the operation was successful, turn off and on the instrument panel: the light should be gone, indicating that the reset was done correctly.
