Let's see how to reset the ABS and traction control warning light on a Toyota Highlander XU40 (2008/2013). This involves performing a series of maneuvers, as it is a mechanical system. Fully turn the steering wheel to the right.

Then turn it fully to the left. Repeat the sequence: right, left, right, left twice.

After that, drive for about two minutes to recalibrate the system. Check that the warning light goes off. If the light remains on, check the mechanical system.

In case of a persistent fault, take the car to a mechanic, but this procedure resolves the issue in 99% of cases.
