How to Reset the Service Light on the Toyota Highlander

To safely and quickly reset the service light on your Toyota Highlander, follow these instructions. First, insert the key and turn on the ignition. Once stabilised, locate the button inside the speedometer and navigate through the onboard computer menu until you see the "Trip" option. At this point, turn off the ignition. Press and hold the same button used earlier while simultaneously turning on the ignition. A new message will appear on the radio display indicating that the reset is in progress. Once completed, the light will be gone.
