Learn how to change the oil in the gearbox of a Toyota Rav 4. Position your car on a column lift (jack) and raise it to a comfortable height for disassembly. To change the gearbox oil: remove the plastic or metal panel located under the engine (if present), then, using a socket spanner, unscrew the large bolt located under the gearbox. Once the bolt is removed, allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container. Prepare to refit the bolt on the gearbox with the spanner, then locate the filler cap on the gearbox and top up with the appropriate fluid. Finally, test the correct operation of the gearbox.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
