The battery of the Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid is installed inside the cabin; specifically, the battery is placed under the rear passenger seat. In case it is necessary to replace the battery, we will have to remove the rear seat by releasing the clips and then removing it. On the side of the plastics, there is an air intake that allows air circulation inside the battery so that it does not overheat during use. The disposal of the battery must be done in accordance with the laws of your municipality, but it is always best to have this procedure carried out in an authorized workshop.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
