To perform this simple operation, keep the instrument cluster off and press the button next to the display for about 15 seconds. Hold the button until the mileage updates. When the mileage is updated, release the button and restart the instrument cluster. It is important to perform this operation only after replacing the timing belt; the replacement should be done between 37,000 and 75,000 miles.
