How to Replace the 12V Battery in a Toyota Yaris Hybrid

To replace the 12V battery in the Toyota Yaris Hybrid, move the seat forward to access the area underneath. Locate the cover panel on the floor and remove it by releasing the clips or unscrewing the screws. Once the battery is exposed, disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Remove the fastening system that holds the battery in place and lift it out carefully. Position the new battery in the same housing and secure it with the bracket. Reconnect the terminals starting with the positive and then the negative, ensuring they are tight. Refit the cover and return the seat to its original position. Finally, check the vehicle's starting.
