How to Reset the Service Light in a Toyota Highlander

Model: Toyota Highlander Xu50 - Years 2014-2019

To reset the service light in a Toyota Highlander (XU50), turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine, and using the controls on the steering wheel, display the total odometer (ODO) on the instrument cluster. Turn off the ignition, then press and hold the odometer reset button while turning the ignition back on without starting the engine. Continue to hold the button until the countdown or reset completed indication appears on the display. Once finished, release the button, turn off the instrument cluster, and turn it back on to verify that the maintenance warning has been cleared and that the new service interval has been recorded correctly.
