Removing Rear Brake Pads on a Toyota Rav 4

Model: Toyota Rav 4 Xa20, MK 2 - Years 2000-2006

Remove the worn brake pads on a Toyota Rav 4. Lift the car on a jack to the desired height, then remove the wheel (using a socket wrench or air impact gun) along with the respective bolts. Remove the brake caliper from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the caliper, then remove the caliper and subsequently the disc. Fit the new pads onto the caliper, then reattach the brake caliper to the disc. Refit the wheel and the securing bolts.
