Operation: How to disassemble a rear bench seat

This first part of the video explains the procedure for removing the rear seat of a Toyota Prius in order to install a hybrid battery. After having illustrated the battery and the tools necessary for the operations (ratchet wrench with extensions and 8, 10, 12 mm sockets) open the luggage compartment and remove its "floor" and the platform near the headrest. Also remove the side panels. Unscrew and remove also the left side tray and, with your hands, detach the lower edge of the trunk. Proceed to remove the rear seat cushions and detach the entire block. With a 14 mm pocket unscrew the bolts securing the lower part of the rear seat. After removing the seats, you need to search for the space for housing the battery then with the ratchet wrench unscrew the two bolts as shown in the video and remove the plastic board. With the 10 mm pocket also unscrew the bolts securing the left side panel and remove it. Again using the 10 mm pocket, remove the right panel as well.
