Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Model: Toyota Prius MK 1 - Years 2004-2009

The cabin air filter is located inside the cabin, on the passenger side, just behind the glove compartment. Open the glove compartment and unclip the cover: there is a side tab that also acts as a stop guide attached to a pin on the cover; simply widen the tab slightly to unclip it and remove the cover. At this point, the filter housing is immediately visible: remove the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring the airflow direction is correct after cleaning the housing of any debris. Finally, reattach the cover.
